1. Google is an American Multinational Technology Company that specializes in Internet -related services and products.

2. It is Considered one of the Big Four Technology Companies, along with Amazon, Apple and Facbook.

3. Google began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were both PhD student at Stanford University in Stanford, California.

4. Page and Brin originally nicknamed their new search engine " BackRub".

5.  Eventually, they changed the name to GOOGLE, the name of the search engine originated from a misspelling of the word " GOOGOL"


6. They incorporated Google as a privately held company on September 4 ,1998.
